Intro - Joy
1. Take it out
There’s a tide that’s turning our way so get up and at it today
Gather all of your strength and your fear the spirit will quench. Now..
Chorus: …Take it out, take it o’er the river and across the land
Take it out, take it to the people who’ll understand
If you’re ever in doubt lean on Him have faith and be stout
But take it out, take it o’er the river and across the land
Take it out, take it to the people who’ll understand
Time is not on our side so forsake the world and her pride
Say goodbye to your friends for on you this message depends
See the storm that’s brewing out there sound the alarm and send up the flares
Can they hear with no preacher man or do you know of some other plan?
Then…
Chorus
Everybody now do you hear for the gospel is crystal clear
It’s the dawn of the final days they must repent and amend their ways. So..
Chorus
How shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except
they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach
the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! (Rom 10:14-15)
2.
Come to me he cries
There are those who feed on the wants and needs of the weakest in our midst
Taking all they’ve earned leaving nothing learned but a yearning that persists
All of us have seen those who fall between what the world sees as the norm
But we pass them on caught up in the throng wanting only to conform
Chorus: Come to me he cries, do not agonize set your worries and fear aside
Come to me and rest lay here on my breast I will comfort you my bride
People come and go but they do not know how to cope with grief and stress
Paying doctor’s bills for ill advice and pills leaves them deeper in distress
Long ago we’re told Yahweh did unfold the solution to our pain
Sending his own son Satan’s now undone when we call Yahshua’s name
Chorus
All the birds have flown I’m left on my own as I walk beside the sea
Thinking of the way that he died that day so that I might be set free
Then a trumpet sounds lightning’s all around and the sky is glowing bright
From the east and west set for his conquest rides my king on his horse of white
Come to me he cries with fire in his eyes take this linen robe and crown
Come to me and rest eternally be blessed now you can lay your burdens down
Repeat Chorus + add - Let me comfort you my bride
Yahshua stood and cried saying, If any one thirst, let him come to me and drink
(Jn 7:37).
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Mt
11:28).
3.
What then can we Do
Oh this world is mean but you’ve only seen the tip of what is going to come
You’d better hold on tight with all your might to someone other then your mom
For all your crying then won’t appease the men who’ll take away your pretty life
It’s going to change some day to misery, grief and strife
But what then can we do if we are weak and sinful through and through
How can we take a stand where can we find the promise land
Well I suggest to you if you don’t have a clue of what’s lurking on down the
road
You’d better get the facts look in the book of Acts
And learn of someone who will ease your load
For on the day of wrath and in the aftermath there won’ be a place to hide your
face
So if I were you I’d seek out his saving grace.
But what then can we do where’s the path to truth that we once knew
Listen to the angel band singing over yonder in the promise land
Now it seems to me if you’re going to be free to do as you please
You better get this straight he’ll only liberate those who truly do believe
Someday he’ll turn you down when you come around looking for a helping hand
So don’t wait too late for you’re walking on sinking sand.
But what then can we do is there not someone who’s brave and true
Holding us in His hand promising us the promise land
There’s only one I know who can save your soul and wash away your sinful past
Yahshua is his name and he bore your shame his love can never be surpassed
So get your act together for there’s stormy weather coming on down the line
Satan’s moving in and he wins most of the time
So
this is what we can do place our faith in someone brave and true
Holding us in His hand he’ll take us safely to the promise land
Now this is what we can do place our faith in someone brave and true
Holding us in His hand he’ll keep us safely in the promise land
They were pricked in their heart, and said… what shall we do? Then Peter
said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of
Yahshua Messiah for the remission of sins (Acts 2:37-38).
4. Chapter 13 (Love Never Fails)
Come little children listen, make this your life long mission;
Turn now from hate, it creates all the things you’re seeing.
Chorus: Love is always kind, sweet and divine;
It never fails, love is the answer.
How can we reach out to those in pain,
While all we seek is our own earthly gain?
We are our brothers keeper, trusting will make him meeker;
Patience you’ll find brings in time happiness and blessings.
Chorus
Love comes down from our Maker, He is our Great Creator;
Forsaking greed we must heed the call of
wayward neighbors.
Evil and pride provoketh, truth, hope and joy will focus;
On all good deeds, filling needs others never notice
Chorus + Repeat 1st verse
Love is always kind, sweet and divine;
It never fails, love is the answer; Yahweh won’t fail, He is the answer.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not
envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (1 Co 13: 4-8)
5. The joy Yahshua brings to me
Have you ever climbed in the mountains, have you ever splashed in the sea,
Have you ever walked through the valley or felt the shade of your family tree?
Hold dear the love of your family.
’Cause we’re destroying the woods and the oceans and the food and the water is
sick,
Everyday one less species existing, what’s more important is Brad’s latest
flick.
Hear the doomsday clock as it ticks.
Chorus: Oh, don’t let it go, no, don’t set it free.
How can you let your conscience die just look around, what do you see?
Just look around, what do you see?
I can see children who are crying, I can see women falling down,
I can tell when old men are frightened as the young men are put in the ground,
Where death is always the talk of the town.
For there’s a group that’s blowing up people as they walk up and then shake your
hand,
They believe in something that’s bigger then them our self absorbed minds can’t
understand.
Start the party let’s strike up the band.
Chorus
There’s corruption in all high places, it’s not safe to be walking alone.
And the youth of today relish gore and dismay when they’re not busy stuck on the
phone.
Please stand by while you’re sitting at home.
Don’t
board up your doors and your windows, it’s time wasted you cannot afford.
Don’t stock up on all the essentials, they can’t save you from famine and war.
Get up and answer that knock on your door.
Chorus
Do you know of someone who’s trying to hold on but is slipping away,
Don’t you have the answer he’s needing, can’t we do more then sit back and pray?
He
can’t hear you what’s that you say?
Now I see judgment walking on toward us and he’s leading his horse through the land.
If
there’s ever a time to be changing your mind do it now start taking a stand.
Obey Yahweh and all his command.
Chorus
Lines 1 & 2 of 1st verse + add - That’s the joy Yahshua brings to me.
Oh have no fear for he holds the key.
Yahshua Messiah - Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see
him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory (1Pe
1:8).
6. The great cloud of witnesses
I was reading through the Bible of the saints who’ve gone before
Their names and deeds were written for to learn not to ignore
There I read of righteous Noah labouring for one hundred years
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob of their victories and fears
With his coat of many colors I learned of the life of Joe
Then I heard the voice of Moses saying, “Let my people go!”
It was through him Yahweh blessed us with His statutes and His laws
And I marvel how they managed without assistance or applause
Then I came to Joshua who lead them to the promised land
And Samuel who blessed David to be king by God’s command
There’s the story when Elijah mocked the priests of Baal that day
Proving Yahweh rules the heavens and He answers when we pray
Daniel tells how Yahweh kept him safe inside the lion’s den
And protected his three brothers from the ploy of evil men
Then we come to dear, sweet Mary and how she received the news
Of the coming of Messiah to be King of all the Jews
And we read of Peter, James and John by the Sea of Galilee
And how they obeyed the Master who said come and follow me
At midnight in a prison we hear Paul and Silas sing
Though in pain and shackles they are happen children of the King
There are more that we could speak of if we only had the time
Isaiah, Job and Stephen are a few that come to mind
Their reward in heaven’s waiting with these words it will begin
Well done my faithful servants please come now and enter in.
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily
beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us (Heb
12:1).
7. A friend of mine
Yahshua is a friend of mine, he laid his life on the line I never knew one to be so kind, he let me see though I was blind.
Now every day I walk this earth, I do because he took my curse
And even though I was the worst, he claimed me for his own.
Yes he claimed me for his own.
The Pharisees and all their men, they tried to make a fool of him
But all they did was in the end, allow him to expose their sin. But with the traitor’s help they pinned, the accusation that he sinned
Throughout the trial, which was a sham, he was silent as a lamb.
Just as silent as a lamb.
The day was sunny and very warm, but then the clouds began to form And hanging there nailed on a tree was the man who died for me. It was hard to see his face, through all the torture and disgrace
But there he was hanging in my place for all the world to see. All the world could see.
Now Peter, James, Matthew and John, ah they were barely hanging on When Mary came a runnin’ in to tell them he was back again. Then the disciples praised his name, and preached the gospel in the same And many turned around and came, unto Yahweh’s chosen son. They turned to Yahweh’s chosen son.
So if you think your life is sad and this old world will drive you mad Sounds like you got what I had so do the things that made me glad.
Fall down upon your knees and pray, and let the potter mold this clay
And you will not regret the day, he claimed you for his own.
Then every day you walk this earth, will be because he took your curse
And even though you were the worst, he claimed you for his own.
Oh, yes he’ll claim you for his own; He will claim you for his own.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his
friends.
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you (John 15:13-14).
8. As I close my eyes
There are times when I know I am not worthy
For the mercy and the grace Yahweh has shown.
It is then I trust the promises He’s given
And await my turn to bow before His throne.
I feel Him in a summer breeze I hear Him in the grass and trees,
I even see Him in the clear blue skies.
There’s nothing else I need to say as I journey with Him every day,
Except to praise and thank Him as I close my eyes.
Each day, I can see the people’s sadness
As they come and go and walk among the aisles.
But the children who are waiting for His calling,
Are filled with joy as you can see their smiles.
They feel Him in a summer breeze and hear Him in the grass and trees,
They even see Him in the clear blue skies.
There’s nothing else they need to say as they journey with Him every day,
Except to praise and thank Him as they close their eyes.
You should know that Yahweh’s patience has its limits
As mankind spirals down to his demise.
But He sent His son Yahshua to redeem us,
Just call His name and He will heed your cries.
You’ll feel Him in a summer breeze and hear Him in the grass and trees,
You’ll even see Him in the clear blue skies.
There’s nothing else you’ll need to say as you journey with Him every day,
Except to praise and thank Him as you close your eyes.
Ps 113:3 From the rising of the sun unto the going
down of the same Yahweh’s name is to be praised.
9. So how you doin’?
It was cold and the wind was blowing strong
By the highway to Furlong on a night as black as coal
All the trucks and the cars just passed me by
I was trying not to cry I was a man who’d lost his soul
Then the brakes of a rig I hadn’t seen
Brought a halt to that machine so I hurried up on in
And the man who sat behind the wheel
Looked to me to be as real as the howling of the wind
Chorus: And he said, Hi, so how you doin’?
Why, do you look so blue and; Cry, if it helps to ease the pain
Where has your life been leading?
There’s someone gently pleading; Prayer is the answer to your shame
I got out on the outskirts of Avon
Turned around and he was gone just as if he hadn’t been
He never said another word to me
Although I then begin to see there was an answer for my sin
Since that day a long, long time ago
All the things I did not know now with opened eyes I see
I wonder if the man or angel comes
Back to check on how I’ve done often his words come to me
Chorus
Driving through the downcast side of town
A
homeless boy lay on the ground it was a sad and tragic case
A crowd had gathered round the scene
And I wish you could have seen the shining look upon his face
He looked straight into my eyes
And I thought that he would cry as I knelt and took his hand
He said tell me what I need to know
Speak the words that you were told and can you hear that angel band
So I said Hi, so how you doin’?
Why, do you look so blue and; Cry, if it helps to ease the pain
Bear all your burdens to him
There I can hear that old hymn; Prayer has been answered in his name
Chorus
Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some
have entertained angels without knowing it (Heb 13:2).
10. Bad things will end
I have a good friend who has doubt in his mind he can not accept children being
lame and blind
He tries to believe Yahweh is taking care but deep down in his heart there is
great despair
Chorus: So why pray if all stays the same why not just give Yahweh all of the
blame?
Oh why do we always pretend that He is listening and bad things will end?
The wisdom of Yahweh no man can explain if we only knew how minute is our brain
The wisdom of man is to Him foolishness but we think we know all since ignorance
is bless
Back in the day the disciples went out preaching the gospel without any doubt
It tells how they struggled, were beaten and tried
As this question whispered from deep down inside
Chorus
Take Job for example of all of the saints he lost his whole family but had no
complaints
He trusted in faith rather then his own will what a great inspiration we speak
of him still
This world was created all perfect and good till Satan moved into our quaint
neighborhood
We followed his evil gave into the flesh now we’re crying foul because of our
mess
Chorus
Let’s look in the good book how long can it last Yahweh tolerating the vessels
of wrath
As long as it takes to make known His power the wicked will cry out, will curse
Him and cower.
Our brethren the prophets who spoke in His name stand up as examples of
suffering and pain
They counted it happiness when they endured you’ve heard of their patience so be
reassured
Yahshua he suffered for me and for you if we follow in his steps we’ll suffer
too
Be partakers of his affliction and scorn don’t be ashamed to wear his crown of
thorns
I reckon the sufferings of this present time cannot be compared with the glory
we’ll find
When he says well done my good servant and friend
The answers to these questions we’ll comprehend.
Chorus
Now faith is the substance of things we hope for, the evidence of things we
can’t see or be sure
The trial of faith is more precious then gold though we’re tried with fire we’ll
stand firm and hold
So keep-on praying thought all stays the same why not give Yahweh the time that
remains?
For we do not have to pretend ‘cause we know He’s listening and bad things will
end.
Yes we know He’s listening and bad things will end.
Yahweh shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more
death, neither sorrow,
nor
crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed
away (Rev 21:4).
11. When the rain don’t fall
Why won’t He leave me here?
Why won’t he leave me here when the rain don’t fall?
Well the storms may grow and the wind can blow,
The lightening flash and the thunder crash
But he won’t leave me here when the rain don’t fall.
The promises that I never kept the things I’ve done that I now regret.
Oh why would he pay heed to one so small?
I can’t say I’d blame him one bit if he left me here on this sinking ship,
But he won’t leave me here when the rain don’t fall.
The time is not that far away and his grace I just can not betray.
Please help me keep my eye upon the ball.
For my flesh and Satan are in tune they’d like to see me wreck and ruin
But he won’t leave me here when the rain don’t fall.
Why won’t He leave me here?
Why won’t he leave me here when the rain don’t fall?
’Cause he promised me and he’s never failed,
Over all his enemies he’s
prevailed
And he won’t leave me here when the rain don’t fall.
When the angels sound that final horn and the dead in faith are all reborn,
I intend to be there to answer that role call.
As quick as the twinkling of an eye he’ll take me to meet him in the sky,
For he won’t leave me here when the rain don’t fall.
Yes I know I won’t be left behind for he’s gone to prepare a place that’s mine
And he’s put my name on a seat in his banquet hall.
He said he will soon come back again and receive me as one of his own kin,
So
I know he won’t leave me here when the rain don’t fall.
Why won’t He leave me here?
Why won’t he leave me here when the rain don’t fall?
’Cause he told me that his grace will suffice
And it’s not like he’s going to have to tell me twice
Since I know he won’t leave me here when the rain don’t fall.
Yahshua won’t leave me here,
He
won’t leave me here when the rain don’t fall.
Yahshua won’t leave me here, he will not leave me here,
He won’t leave me here when he comes this fall.
So Messiah was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look
for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation (Heb 9:28).
12. You’ll Be FINE
Oh, how are you going to find your way safely in these troubled times
I think of you when’re I watch the news and my heart sometimes sings the blues
I know I can’t be there with you each day I turn to Yahweh and to Him I pray
I’ve told you if you’ll listen to His voice you’ll be sure to make the right
choice
Oh, how are you going to find someone gentle, sweet, sincere and kind
There could be trials waiting round the bend so trust in Yahweh till the end
I hope to hear from you if things go wrong a helping hand is even for the
strong
I realize you’re all grown up and gone but in my heart you still belong
Oh, how are you going to find a friend to guide and ease your restless mind
Don’t worry when life gets the upper hand Yahshua knows and understands
Don’t let you’re problems pile up on you but take the blame for everything you
do
Stop and take the time to pray each day and everything will be okay
So, it looks like you’ll be fine just do your best and don’t complain and whine
It’s understood you’re always in our thoughts, have faith and son well thanks a lot
My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice. Labour not to be rich
and have the wisdom to show restraint. Let not thine heart envy sinners:
but be thou in the fear of Yahweh all the day long. (Pr 23:4, 15, 17)
